What is Atso Tek coal supply

Tonnage, paperwork and a pre shipment assay. Not a fax and a hope.

Coal is too commoditised to forgive paperwork mistakes and too consequential to forgive a missed calorific value. We trade coal the way utilities and cement buyers actually want it bought: pre shipment SGS or CIQ inspection, lab assay against the contract spec, full export documentation and an Incoterm that matches your storage plan.

Three coal families

Pick the coal that matches your furnace.

Steam, coking and anthracite are not interchangeable. We supply all three from origin sources we have shipped from before, with the lab data to prove the spec.

GRADE 01 / STEAM/01

Steam Coal (Bituminous)

5500 to 6500 kcal/kg NARHighest volume grade

Thermal grade bituminous coal for power generation, cement kilns and industrial boilers. Balanced volatile matter, controlled ash and sulfur for stable combustion at scale. Most common export flow from Turkey and Black Sea origins.

Typical applications
  • APower utilities
  • BCement clinker kilns
  • CIndustrial steam boilers
  • DProcess heat
GRADE 02 / COKING/02

Coking Coal (Metallurgical)

Low ash · Low sulfurSteel mill grade

Hard coking coal and PCI grade for blast furnace charge and pulverised coal injection. Selected for high coke strength after reaction (CSR), low ash and stable volatile matter. Used by integrated steel mills as direct furnace feed.

Typical applications
  • ABlast furnace coke
  • BPulverised coal injection (PCI)
  • CFoundry coke production
  • DSinter plant blends
GRADE 03 / ANTHRACITE/03

Anthracite

≥ 7000 kcal/kgHighest carbon content

Highest carbon, lowest volatile matter coal. Specified for water filtration media, sintering, ferro alloy reduction and premium domestic heating markets. Sized fractions available from pea to nut.

Typical applications
  • AWater filtration media
  • BFerro alloy and silicon
  • CSinter plant carbon
  • DPremium heating
Specifications guaranteed

Lab data on every cargo, before it sails.

Each cargo ships with an independent pre shipment analysis (SGS, Intertek or CIQ depending on origin port) against the contract spec. Below is the typical envelope.

Industries served

From the boiler stack to the blast furnace.

We supply utilities, cement plants and steel mills as our core flow. Specialty volumes (filtration, ferro alloy, foundry) are handled by the same desk.

/01Steam Coal
Utility / IPP

Power generation

Bituminous steam coal for utility scale boilers and IPPs. Calorific value, ash fusion and sulfur tuned to plant SCR / FGD configuration.

/02Steam Coal
Kiln fuel

Cement and clinker

Coal as primary kiln fuel, blended with petcoke or alternative fuel where available. Sized for direct firing and consistent volatile matter.

/03Coking / Anthracite
Blast furnace

Steel and metallurgy

Hard coking coal for coke ovens, PCI grade for pulverised coal injection. Anthracite for sinter plant carbon and ferro alloy reduction.

Buyer questions

What coal buyers ask before the first cargo.

Our smallest economical cargo is 5,000 MT (Handysize). Containerised parcels of 25 to 500 tons are possible for specialty grades like sized anthracite.
